This month’s video focuses on creating new Custom Activities for your type of business. They are particularly useful in many different industries.
Act! provides 7 preset activities for you to use in your database. While these can be quite useful, they cannot be changed. You are able to create as many new Custom Activities as you need to improve Act’s usefulness to your particular business. Over the years we have helped our customers create dozens of new Activities. Here are a few, Interview for Recruiters, Open House & Closing for Real Estate, Service Call for Tradesmen, Class for Educators.
Custom activities can also have multiple results besides the basic Completed & Not Completed. When you Create a new Activity it automatically creates a corresponding History record as well.
